When the heat is isolated in the turbocharger it improves turbocharger efficiency by keeping the exhaust gases hot. Resulting in faster spool up of the turbocharger and thus less turbo lag and a more linear power curve. Made from Hi-tempSilica material designed to reduce turbo lag and control under hood temperatures.
