The V3 GKTECH Super Lock R32/R33/R34/Z32 Pro Drift front knuckles have been developed with the learnings from our previous V1/V2 knuckles and we now present a lightweight, sheet metal design after hundreds of hours of FEA (Finite Element Analysis) to improve the strength of the product but also keep the weight down.

With 65+ degrees of steering lock being able to be achieved with ease whilst keeping a linear steering response these knuckles are suited to drift or circuit racers.

These knuckles also now feature adjustable ackerman, giving either some ackermann or parallel steering all which can be adjusted easily with two inserts on the tie rod pickup.

Featuring:
- Spindle height raised for roll center and bump steer correction
- 65+ degrees of steering lock
- Adjustable ackermann
- Lightweight (3.08lbs lighter EACH)
- R32/Z32 and R33/R34 specific versions
- Linear steering response for optimal drive

Installation Notes
- For Z32 owners these knuckles are designed on using a J-arm top bearing with I.D of 28mm, this is 98% of all J-arms, but may be worth checking to ensure it is a straight fit. If not, the 28mm I.D bearing can be purchased and will be needed.

- Also for Z32 owners, these knuckles will only work with the use of either OEM S/R outer tie rod ends, or ours which can be seen here:
M14 Super adjustable inner tie rod

- Only suits RWD steering setups. GTS-4 and GTR front suspension setups are different and these knuckles will NOT work with them.

- When using R34 front brake calipers the mounting holes need to be drilled out from 12mm to 14mm (there is enough material to cater for the increase in hole diameter).

- Does NOT have a provision for ABS

FAQS

How hard are these to fit?
They are quite easy to install but mechanical knowledge is certainly required. Remove your standard knuckles, press out the old hubs, press the hubs into the new knuckles and the knuckles will bolt straight in.

Do you make knuckles for other cars?
Yes, we make knuckles for S/R/Z chassis Nissans and even Toyota's!

Will this fit my car?
We can only confirm fitment for the vehicles listed above under "vehicle compatibility". If your car is not listed there, then we don't know if it will fit.

What's the advantage of using the GKTech V3 front drop knuckles?
A lot of people think that the best thing about knuckles (aka uprights) is getting more steering angle to drift however the main advantage of installing knuckles is the roll centre correction and bump steer correction. Extremely lowered vehicles typically handle poorly, with drop knuckles like these installed the handling will improve dramatically as your lower control arm and castor (aka tension) rods are sitting near horizontally which brings them back to where they were before the car was lowered, which is exactly what you want.

What modifications are required, is this hard to fit?
No modifications are required, simply just remove and refit.

However, if you notch your lower control arms or at least modify the bump stops will help get more from the knuckles. Rack spacers are also recommended or alternatively longer tie rods or some of our tie rod ends which are adjustable in length. To get the absolute most out of these knuckles our Super Lock LCA's, our offset rack spacers (or rack relocated using bolt on rack spacers) and appropriately sized wheels are required.

Note that of all of the steering racks, the R33 steering rack provides the least amount of travel so if you are chasing every last degree of angle, swapping to an R32 steering rack will give a few more degrees of lock.

You will also need to re-adjust your coilover height due to the 20mm drop incorporated into the knuckle.

Is there anything else needed for installation?
No, you will need to use your OEM wheel bearing. However, in terms of the knuckles themselves, they will arrive as shown in the product photo.

Can I install this myself? If so how long will installation take?
Yes, provided you have general mechanical knowledge as they are relatively straightforward. You will need to press your old hub/ wheel bearing out and press them into the new knuckle. Installation time should be around 30 minutes. However, being a suspension component we recommend only a trained professional to install this product.

Do these lower the cars height?
Yes, around 20mm, you will simply need to re-adjust the height of your coilover and it will counteract the height difference.

Will I have to get a wheel alignment after installing these?
Yes, as the ride height and toe have been altered, we strongly recommend a wheel alignment after any suspension changes.

How much angle can I get from these knuckles?
Depending on the width and offset of your rims and whether you're running standard lower control arms or notched/modified lower control arms (or standard) you will see between 60 degrees - 70 degrees of steering lock.

I sometimes do circuit/grip racing as well as drifting, are these suitable?
Yes, absolutely. You have the additional lock for drifting as well as the weight saving, roll center and bump steer correction which is great for additional front end grip which can definitely be used for all drift/circuit and grip racing setups.
