Street Division's forged LS 4.000" stroker crankshafts are a meticulously produced piece. Designed specifically with strength and reliability in mind, forged crankshafts are far superior to any cast alternative on the market without an equivalent jump in price. Street Division's crankshafts are manufactured from premium grade 4340 with the following features that offer a point of difference from alternatives on the market:
- Crack detection on the finished components
- Multi step heat treatment processes including core hardening, stress relieving and nitriding
- 5 axis CNC machining
- 3M micro polishing to finish the crankshaft journal surfaces
Every single crankshaft that leaves the factory is thoroughly checked for quality with the use of Zeiss Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), ensuring that they meet our requirements.
