BMW F8X M2/M3/M4 SOLID DIFF BUSHES
The GKTECH solid aluminium diff bushes are a direct replacement of the standard items and ensure that movement of the diff is kept to a minimum within the subframe which is quite common under hard driving conditions.
In addition to limiting the movement of your rear diff our risers raise the diff 10mm within the subframe limiting the angle of your axles on a lowered vehicle. If your car isn't super low, the OEM style solid bush is suggested.

OEM Style or raised version?
If your car is lowered, go with the raised version. There are no negatives and it fixes up bad axle angles which cause blown cv's.
Note: when running solid diff bushes it is recommended to also run our dual diff bracket as seen here: https://au.gktech.com/products/f8x-m2-m3-m4-dual-mount-diff-bracket
FAQS
What's the difference between your OEM style solid diff bushes and the "raised" version?Solid is as the name suggests, solid. Where the risers come in to it is if you have lowered your car the axle angles get messed up. The OEM axles don't work well at high angles and as such can blow your CV joints. By raising your diff you are correcting the axle geometry.
Why not go higher?
The diff physically can not sit any higher in the subframe.
What modifications are required, is this hard to fit?
If running the raised diff bushes you will need to grind a small section on the front of the diff but it is very easy to do.
Is there anything else needed for installation?
It is recommended that if running solid diff bushes you also run our dual diff bracket as seen here:
Can I install this myself? If so how long will installation take?
Yes, if the diff is out the job will take around 30 minutes to remove the OEM bushes and install the new bushes. If it's in the car, the process is more time consuming and to remove the tail shaft, remove driveshafts etc. will take a few hours for most.
Do these cause much vibration/noise in the cabin?
Not really. Obviously, anything solid or more rigid is going to cause an increase in noise and vibration. However, I'd hardly say that it's noticeable. Chances are if you're installing these you've already got stiff suspension, your car is lowered, you've got an aftermarket exhaust etc.
